Verdict
The Burj Khalifa is about 2.5 times as tall as the Eiffel Tower: 828 m against 330 m to the Eiffel's antenna tip, a difference of 498 m. The Eiffel Tower and the Burj Khalifa were each the tallest structure of their time, 121 years apart. The Eiffel Tower opened to the public in May 1889 and now stands 330 m (1,083 ft) to the tip of its antennas, after a new digital-radio antenna added 6 m on 15 March 2022 (AP; Wikipedia). The Burj Khalifa in Dubai opened on 4 January 2010 and is 828 m to its architectural top. That makes the Burj about 2.5 Eiffel Towers tall, or 498 m taller. Height
The Eiffel Tower was 312 m when it was inaugurated in 1889. Antennas added over the years took it to 324 m, and on 15 March 2022 a helicopter lifted a new digital-radio antenna onto the top, bringing it to 330 m (1,083 ft), as reported by the Associated Press. Wikipedia gives 300 m without antennas. The Burj Khalifa is 828 m to its architectural top and 829.8 m to the tip. Divide 828 by 330 and you get 2.51, so two and a half Eiffel Towers stacked would just about reach the Burj's top. The Eiffel Tower was the tallest structure in the world from 1889 until the Chrysler Building passed it in 1930. See Burj Khalifa facts.
The floors you can reach
The Eiffel Tower's top platform is 276 m above the ground (Wikipedia). The Burj Khalifa's standard deck, level 124, is at 452 m, so a basic Burj ticket puts you 176 m higher than the very top of the Eiffel Tower's visitor floors and 122 m above its antenna tip. Level 148 is at 555 m and The Lounge on levels 152 to 154 at 585 m. The view differs as well: from the Burj you look down on the towers of Downtown Dubai and out to the coast and the desert. Visiting each: tickets and decks
At the Burj Khalifa you book a timed slot. A levels 124 and 125 ticket started at $51 on 27 October 2026 (AED 189, at 1 USD = 3.6725 AED); level 148 started at $109 and adds skip-the-line access and a lounge with snacks and hot drinks. Sunset slots cost more. You reach the Burj's decks by double-deck elevators that travel at up to 10 m/s (Wikipedia). One reviewer of the Sky Views combo ticket wrote that they "love the Eiffel Tower" but the Burj visit "actually topped that". Both Burj tickets offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before.
